La cucina lontano da casa
85 ricette di un'italiana londinese - 85 Recipes of an Italian Londoner
Introduzione di Simonetta Agnello Hornby
(Book Time)
In 1993, food writer Maria Rosario Lazzati moved from Milan to London. She recollects her experience of settling in a foreign country through 85 recipes, written in both Italian and English. Some celebrate family traditions; others tell of the joy of making new friends in her kitchen and around the table. Many describe the adoption of different ingredients in a new world.
It is a dialogue kneading tradition with innovation.

In 2001, I co-edited Appunti di cucina italiana/Notes from the Italian Kitchen, a book of over 100 Italian recipes collected from Italian expats, members of the London-based charity Il Circolo.

In 2012, I published
La cucina del buon gusto

(Feltrinelli),
co-written with the Italian writer Simonetta Agnello Hornby. The book celebrates the pleasure of cooking and conviviality in the present day.
With Claude Chahine Shehadi, my creative cooking partner for seven wonderful years,
I published three books on pulses.
